Bitcoin Buying Pressure Hits New High Since Bear Market, Spot Net Purchases Exceed $83 Billion
On September 6, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that Bitcoin is experiencing the strongest buying pressure since the last bear market. The net purchases of spot Bitcoin, measured in USD and accumulated over 365 days, have exceeded $83 billion, while this metric is still in negative territory until March 2026. This indicator calculates the difference between the spot buying and selling volumes on major trading platforms and rolls up the data over 365 days, showing a significant improvement in recent demand and a gradual positive trend in the market. Although spot trading volume does not constitute the majority of trading platform volumes, with futures trading still dominating, the spot indicator suggests that market momentum is becoming increasingly positive.
