D2 Finance Raises Five Questions on Tori Finance's Gap-Filling Actions
D2 Finance has raised five questions regarding Tori Finance's actions to fill the gap after the Term Finance incident. The questions include why Tori Finance minted 250,500 trUSD instead of directly using the existing USDC reserves, the source of the collateral used for minting, the fact that half of the funds came from Kraken's hot wallet, the transparency page showing a buffer of only about $17,600 (just 3 basis points), which is far below the scale of the incident's impact, and inquiries about Delta Neutrality verification, high-yield money market positions, and hedging methods. In the Term Finance governance vulnerability incident, the RockawayX Tori USDC Vault was affected, resulting in a loss of approximately 454,000 USDC. RockawayX and Tori Finance subsequently stated that the loss has been fully covered by them.
