Ethereum Core Developer Sina Mahmoodi Resigns
Ethereum core developer Sina Mahmoodi has announced his departure from the Ethereum Foundation after more than seven years of service. Mahmoodi joined the Ethereum Foundation after graduating from university in 2019 and contributed to the development of EthereumJS, eWASM, and the Geth client, with Geth becoming a critical infrastructure for the Ethereum ecosystem. He stated that his belief in Ethereum as a decentralized global settlement layer remains unchanged and that he will take a temporary break before deciding on his next steps.
