Ethereum Foundation Sponsors WPPT 2026 Workshop
The Ethereum Foundation will sponsor the first Workshop on Privacy-Preserving Technologies (WPPT 2026), which is an affiliated event of Asiacrypt 2026, scheduled to be held in Hong Kong in December 2026. The workshop will focus on topics such as ZK, MPC, FHE, PIR, privacy identities, blockchain privacy, and practical deployment of privacy systems, aiming to connect theoretical research with practical applications. The call for presentations is now open, with submissions of abstracts not exceeding 3 pages due by September 25.

NVIDIA’s strong results and higher guidance reinforced expectations for continued AI infrastructure spending, while Salesforce’s earnings supported a recovery in enterprise-software sentiment. Bitcoin remained range-bound at elevated levels, with AI meme and privacy-coin sectors leading gains. Semiconductor, crude-oil and natural-gas assets also rebounded, while Jackson Hole policy communication and upcoming Marvell Technology and Workday earnings remained the key catalysts.
