Franco Colapinto Achieves 28 Consecutive Races in Formula 1
Franco Colapinto has had an outstanding season in Formula 1 with Alpine, accumulating 19 points in the world championship. At just 23 years old, he has established himself in the category and has become the eleventh driver with the most consecutive races finished in the history of Formula 1, reaching a streak of 28 races since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2025. The statistic, provided by Big Data F1, only considers the races in which a driver started. Among the ten drivers who surpass him are figures like Lewis Hamilton, who leads with 62 consecutive races finished between Great Britain 2018 and the Netherlands 2021. He is followed by Oscar Piastri (44), Max Verstappen (43), George Russell (40), Kimi Räikkönen (38), Daniel Ricciardo (34), Nick Heidfeld (33), and Carlos Sainz (31). Fernando Alonso and Charles Leclerc each have 29. Colapinto could match Alonso and Leclerc in the next race and surpass them in two Grand Prix. This statistic reflects the evolution of calendars over the last 20 years and highlights the importance of maintaining the car and avoiding damage in high-level motorsport.
