Google Pomelli Adds Feature to Convert Photos into Short Videos
Google Labs' AI marketing tool Pomelli has added a feature that converts photos into short videos or GIFs. Users can upload images or select from basic templates to create visual content for social media and advertising. The newly added animate feature allows users to transform photos into short videos or GIFs. Google describes Pomelli as a tool designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises create marketing content that aligns with their brand. This update reduces the production steps, allowing users to handle product photography, banner editing, and video editing all on one screen. The animate feature can be selected by hovering over the generated image, and it is provided in a 9:16 format for campaign materials. This is significant for Korean readers as it expands the scope of AI production tools. Exchanges and Web3 projects are also distributing social media ads using images and short videos. It has not been confirmed whether Pomelli has been applied to specific crypto companies or token marketing. Google aims for Pomelli to enable small businesses and medium-sized enterprises to create content with brand consistency. The scope of Pomelli's use may vary depending on supported regions, account accessibility, and the quality of generated products.
