Government reaffirms Vicente Alberto Pollola as director of the Federal Tax Commission
The Government has reaffirmed Vicente Alberto Pollola as the executive director of the Federal Tax Commission for a new two-year term, formalized through resolution 277/2026. The decision was approved at the 161st meeting of the Plenary of Representatives, where his continuation was proposed. The previous resolution, No. 266/2024, will be null and void starting May 1, 2026. Pollola had initially been appointed temporarily by resolution No. 261/2024. Additionally, the Plenary approved resolution 287/2026, which establishes a new text for the Procedural Ordinance, effective from August 18, 2026, replacing the regulations from 2004. This new regulation includes the creation of a Permanent Digital Book of Electronic Addresses for official notifications. The reform began in April 2025, with a specific working group reviewing the regulations to ensure principles of informality, simplicity, speed, and efficiency. It was decided that taxpayers and their associations will act only as reporters, excluding them from being parties in the proceedings, with eighteen votes in favor and one against.
