On September 6, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced that its air force launched multiple ballistic missiles, targeting a US aircraft carrier and a destroyer. These two US warships were involved in maritime blockade operations against Iran and interfered with Iranian vessels. The announcement stated that after the strikes, the two US warships were forced to withdraw from the conflict zone. Today, conflicts continue in various parts of the Middle East, with US forces and the IRGC sinking each other's oil tankers. The US Central Command confirmed the sinking of three IRGC oil tankers, while Iran claimed to have struck three vessels linked to the US and three oil tankers, impacting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
