Linux Foundation Releases Draft of Shared AI Discovery Exchange Guidelines

The Linux Foundation has released a draft of the Shared AI Discovery Exchange (SAFE) guidelines, aimed at transforming cybersecurity incidents in the field of agent AI into shared protective capabilities. The guidelines were drafted by the Open Security AI Alliance working group, which includes members such as NVIDIA, Cisco Systems, CrowdStrike, Hugging Face, and Red Hat, with over 120 organizations currently involved. The SAFE guidelines propose several recommendations, including the confidential collection and analysis of AI security incidents and near misses, notifying relevant parties, identifying recurring failures in security controls, and issuing evidence-based operational recommendations to reduce system risks.
