Omacom Foundation Sponsorship Amount Increases to $12 Million, Coinbase CEO and Dai Yunjie Each Donate $1 Million
The Omacom Foundation has received $1 million in support from Dai Yunjie, founder of TapTap, and Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, bringing the total support from founding sponsors to $12 million. The Omacom Foundation's website indicates that both have joined the ranks of founding sponsors. Omacom stated that it will reserve an important position for cryptocurrency within its operating system and community. Previously, the Omacom Foundation was established by David Heinemeier Hansson, the creator of Ruby on Rails, with a total of $8 million in initial funding aimed at supporting the infrastructure and open-source development related to the desktop Linux system Omarchy.
