Qatar Resumes Maritime Navigation Starting Sunday

By: rootdata|2026/07/25 18:53:00

Qatar will resume all maritime navigation activities for any type of vessel starting tomorrow, Sunday, after more than ten days of suspension due to the escalation between Iran and the U.S. in the region. The Ministry of Transport has requested that everyone comply with the current maritime regulations and instructions and ensure the availability of safety equipment before and during navigation, thus ensuring the highest levels of safety for all maritime trips. The temporary suspension of navigation was ordered on July 12, in the context of Iran's offensive against the Gulf countries and Jordan, asking boat owners and users to temporarily halt maritime activities. The measure did not include vessels subject to international maritime agreements, which continue their operations in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.
