Sony Bank will issue dollar-denominated tokenized securities on July 29 and open subscriptions. The funds raised will be used for a music copyright investment portfolio jointly established by the Singapore Government Investment Corporation and Sony Music Group. This portfolio profits by collecting copyright revenues from music in various scenarios such as streaming, broadcasting, film, and advertising. The securities will be issued by Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, with Sony Bank responsible for sales, and the underlying asset management will utilize the private blockchain infrastructure provided by Securitize Japan.
