Stellaria Raises $6.8 Million at a Valuation of $114 Million

- Founded by Ali Al Hammadi, Stellaria is developing an AI-powered operating system for geospatial intelligence that transforms satellite images and geospatial data into actionable and analyzable information.
- The company’s technologies include AI analysis of satellite images, image enhancement, automatic target recognition, navigation and port analytics, measuring water depths using satellite data, and environmental monitoring, through its platform Stella.
- The funding will be used to develop AI and geospatial intelligence technologies, expand its technical team, and accelerate the deployment of its solutions in the UAE and international markets.

Stellaria, a UAE company specializing in artificial intelligence and geospatial intelligence, announced the closure of a seed funding round worth 25 million dirhams, supported by a group of individual investors. The company’s valuation after the round reached 420 million dirhams, and the funding will support the next phase of its growth, including the development and expansion of its AI-powered geospatial operating system, enhancing its technical capabilities and team, and accelerating the deployment of its solutions in the UAE and global markets.

The technology combines geospatial data with advanced AI models and analytical workflows, enabling users to monitor, analyze, and understand real-world variables on a large scale. The company’s capabilities include AI analysis of satellite images, ultra-high precision techniques, automatic target recognition, maritime and port intelligence solutions, measuring water depths based on satellite data, and environmental monitoring, alongside its proprietary platform Stella.
