Tether Expands Workforce and Strengthens Hadron Business in the Asia-Pacific Region
Tether is expanding its workforce and institutional sales base in the Asia-Pacific region through its Hadron platform. Job postings for 'Expansion Manager - Tokenization' have been made in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Jakarta, and collaborations with Saudi Arabia and Kenya are also underway. Hadron serves as an asset tokenization infrastructure, supporting commodities, corporate equity, government bonds, and stablecoins, and includes KYC, KYB, and KYT functionalities. On August 6, Tether announced its collaboration with First Data and BKN301 in Saudi Arabia to utilize Hadron for real estate asset tokenization. Additionally, on July 28, it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Nairobi Securities Exchange to discuss digital asset education and tokenization possibilities. Tether aims to transition to a tokenization infrastructure business targeting institutional clients through Hadron, focusing on the regulatory environment and institutional clients in the Asia-Pacific region. While the entry into the South Korean market has not been confirmed, recruitment efforts are ongoing in major cities across the Asia-Pacific region.
