Trump Claims US Military Strikes on Iranian Targets, Threatens Stronger Retaliation
President Trump stated on social media that the US military is conducting large-scale strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz in response to Iran's laying of mines in the strait and launching missiles at the US military base in Jordan. Trump noted that all mines have been cleared or detonated, and the missiles have been successfully intercepted. He warned that if Iran retaliates against these strikes, it will face even more severe attacks, and indicated that a final strike is being prepared, at which point Iran will have little left.
