Uniswap Processes $1.5 Billion in Stock Token Trades on Robinhood Chain

Prefer us on GoogleUniswap (UNI) has processed approximately $1.5 billion in stock token trades on the Robinhood Chain over the past six weeks. Cumulative trading surpassed $1 billion in mid-August, with a single-day trading volume reaching $130 million on August 29. Robinhood launched its public mainnet on July 1, offering stock tokens in over 120 countries and enabling eligible users to trade 24/7. Uniswap serves as the primary public automated market maker (AMM) on the Robinhood Chain. Stock tokens are tokenized securities that are linked to the price movements of underlying stocks, with over 190 assets connected according to Robinhood's documentation. However, the conditions vary by asset, and the actual usage scope depends on jurisdiction and individual asset conditions. This increase in trading is interpreted as an indicator of the early nature of the Robinhood Chain. Blockster and CryptoBriefing reported that Uniswap accounts for approximately 99% of the liquidity for tokenized stocks on the Robinhood Chain. Stock token trading is also cited as an example of expanding the use of AMMs. Robinhood Crypto posted '15 billion dollars' on X, and CEO Vlad Tenev stated that this is seen as an experiment in expanding global ownership.
