Uniswap V4 Leads with $59.1 Million in Tokenized Stock Deposits
Uniswap (UNI) V4 has secured $59.1 million in tokenized stock deposits, making it the largest among related DeFi (Decentralized Finance) platforms. According to data from Token Terminal on the 6th, Uniswap V4's total value locked (TVL) stands at $59.1 million, followed by Kamino Lend at $41.7 million and Uniswap V3 at $20.9 million. The combined TVL of these three platforms amounts to $121.7 million, accounting for 63% of the total tokenized stock DeFi TVL of $192.6 million. Tokenized stocks are assets that represent price exposure to traditional stocks or ETFs in the form of blockchain tokens, used in DeFi for trading, liquidity provision, collateral deposits, and lending. Uniswap V4 offers flexibility to add market-specific functionalities through its 'hook' structure, while Kamino Lend is noted as a lending protocol within the Solana ecosystem. Uniswap V3 absorbs tokenized stock liquidity based on the existing AMM structure, but V3 and V4 differ in pool design and functionality expansion. Although the total TVL for tokenized stock DeFi is limited compared to traditional financial markets, the concentration of 63% in the top three platforms indicates that initial liquidity is concentrated in a few locations.
