Combat Map in Ukraine as of August 18, 2026
The 1638th day of the war in Ukraine continues. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 244 combat clashes in the past 24 hours. The enemy launched 91 airstrikes, dropping 306 guided aerial bombs, used 11,138 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,310 shellings. Artillery shelling targeted settlements in the Sumy region. Defense forces struck two command posts and two artillery systems. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, 17 enemy attacks were halted. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, seven attacks were repelled. In the Kupiansk direction, there were five enemy offensive actions. In the Lyman direction, the occupiers attacked twice. In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out 17 assault actions. In the Kramatorsk direction, five attacks were recorded. In the Konstantynivka direction, there were 27 attacks. In the Pokrovsk direction, 34 attacks occurred. In the Oleksandrivka direction, there was one attack. In the Huliaipole direction, there were 11 attacks. In the Orikhiv direction, four enemy attempts were stopped. In the Dnipro direction, one combat clash took place. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
