ElizaOS Founder Claims ai16z Token is Completely Dead, Foundation Gradually Ending Operations

On August 5, Shaw, the founder of ElizaOS, stated that the ai16z token is completely dead, and the related foundation is gradually ceasing operations. There are currently no funds available for token buybacks, and there will be no new funds or token supplies to support the market; he himself no longer holds any related tokens and will not support the launch of Eliza tokens in the future. Shaw mentioned that Burwick previously filed a lawsuit against the project, and the team lacked funds for legal defense, ultimately reaching a settlement with some holders and handing over the remaining treasury and funds. He stated that he has never sold ai16z and has not profited from the project aside from a salary comparable to other engineers. The team will continue to develop Eliza and the underlying operating system, planning to restart without the pressure of token, Launchpad, and community price fluctuations. The intellectual property related to Eliza is still held by him, and in the future, he will focus on localization, privacy protection, and supporting intelligent agent technology with encryption capabilities. Shaw still recognizes blockchain technology but holds a pessimistic view of the current industry, which is overly focused on speculation, predicting markets, and meme coins, believing that the AI community should focus more on building products.
