Grayscale's Chief Financial Officer Edward McGee resigned on July 2 for personal reasons after serving for seven years. The company has appointed Kathryn Masci and Daniel Plourde as interim co-CFOs, with Masci also serving as Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and joining the board. This marks the second executive departure at Grayscale in recent times, following the exit of John Hoffman, the head of distribution and partnerships, last fall, who subsequently joined Ondo Finance. This resignation comes as Grayscale has paused its listing plans; the company had secretly submitted an IPO application last November and is unlikely to restart the listing process before the fourth quarter.
