@Kris
I am very pleased to be able to build a prediction market in partnership with Vlad Tenev and Robinhood App. This will be a significant transformation for OG.com and Crypto.com. Stay tuned for future developments.
@WSJ
Exclusive: Robinhood Markets has agreed to add Crypto.com's yes-or-no contracts to its trading platform and acquire minority stakes in the digital currency exchange and its prediction market business.

Through this partnership, OG.com will provide exchange, clearing, and infrastructure services for Robinhood's prediction market, processing some event contracts. Under the partnership, Robinhood will handle a portion of the trading volume of event contracts for retail investors through OG.com's derivatives exchange and clearinghouse. OG.com operates under the supervision of the CFTC (U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission) and will gradually begin offering some sports-related event contracts to U.S. customers starting September 8.

Initially, contracts will cover match results, player performances, and combinations of multiple conditions, with the possibility of expanding to economic indicators, elections, sports, and cultural events in the future.

Robinhood launched a prediction market hub in March 2025 through a partnership with Kalshi, and subsequently added ForecastEX and Rothera, a joint venture exchange with Susquehanna International Group. With OG.com joining, it becomes the fourth infrastructure and clearing partner. Existing contract routing will continue, and the system for routing contracts through multiple providers will be expanded.

Deepening Relationships with Investments in Crypto.com and OG.com

In addition to the infrastructure partnership, Robinhood will also acquire minority stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com. The scale of the investment and specific ownership ratios have not been disclosed, but the valuation criteria for the stock acquisition will use the recent investment terms from Citadel Securities into Crypto.com. Based on this, Crypto.com is valued at $20 billion (approximately 3 trillion yen), while OG.com is valued at $5 billion (approximately 768.15 billion yen) as a standalone company.

The background to this is the rapid growth of Robinhood's prediction market business. Revenue for the second quarter of 2026 was $156 million (approximately 24 billion yen), a 50% increase from the first quarter. During the same quarter, 13.6 billion event contracts were traded, exceeding 30 billion in the first eight months of 2026, and reaching over 45 billion in total since the service began.

The company plans to open a dedicated hub to display real-time voting results ahead of the U.S. midterm elections in November, further advancing the expansion of its prediction market business through this partnership and investment.
