Shiba Inu Restart Rumors Spark Community Interpretation Debate
The rumors of a Shiba Inu (SHIB) restart are escalating into a debate over interpretations surrounding community statements rather than official proposals. This is a result of discussions about the relaunch of some ecosystem projects, controversies regarding Shibarium's operation, and warnings about fake migrations. Long-term community participant Mazrael refuted related claims as 'fake', while Rugrat asserted that Shiba Inu could restart from scratch. This statement was more of an interpretation within the community rather than an announcement following official DAO procedures. The issue lies in the fact that the term 'restart' has been used in different contexts. Reports indicated that Shiba Eternity and Shib: The Metaverse are preparing for relaunch updates after a temporary halt, but there has been no official announcement regarding a complete restart of Shibarium and the entire SHIB DAO. The SHIB DAO has a governance structure that deals with proposal generation, review, voting, and execution procedures, and according to official documents, token holders and SNS domain holders can submit proposals if they meet the requirements. However, there were no items directly related to this restart rumor on the public proposal list. The restructuring trend of the Shiba Inu ecosystem is a backdrop, and the official media, The Shib Magazine, has designated 2026 as 'Year Zero', suggesting that projects that do not generate revenue may be discontinued. Security warnings have also fueled this controversy, with Mazrael advising caution against fake migration claims. The official Shiba Inu website provides guidance on reporting fraudulent sites. This matter illustrates a structure where official documents, community statements, security warnings, and relaunch observations are mentioned together.
