Walmart and Target Q2 Earnings Announcement Schedule
The earnings announcements of major U.S. retailers will take place between the 18th and 20th of this month. Home Depot will announce its results at 10 PM on the 18th, Target at 9 PM on the 19th, Lowe's at 10 PM on the 19th, and Walmart at 9 PM on the 20th. The focus of this earnings report will be on the structure of consumer spending, with Walmart and Target reflecting demand for groceries and essential goods, while Home Depot and Lowe's will reflect spending on home repairs and remodeling. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for June fell by 0.4% compared to the previous month and rose by 3.5% compared to the same month last year. Grocery prices increased by 0.2%, while energy prices fell by 5.7%. This earnings announcement is expected to show how consumers and businesses are responding to high prices. The minutes from the Federal Reserve's FOMC meeting will be released on the 19th, which will be an important resource for analyzing consumer behavior and interest rate environments together. This week's schedule includes Home Depot's earnings (10 PM on the 18th), Target's earnings (9 PM on the 19th), Lowe's earnings (10 PM on the 19th), FOMC minutes (3 AM on the 20th), and Walmart's earnings (9 PM on the 20th).
