Agrarians Received 174.7 Million UAH in Compensation for Equipment
The Ministry of Economy has paid agricultural producers 174.7 million UAH in compensation under a program that reimburses 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment for applications submitted in June. The funds have already been transferred to the enterprises' accounts through authorized banks. In June, agricultural producers submitted 585 applications for 1,423 units of equipment with a total value of 838.3 million UAH including VAT, which includes cultivators, harrows, seeders, tractors, and other machinery. Deputy Minister Vitaliy Kindratov noted that the compensation supports demand for Ukrainian agricultural machinery. In April, the government expanded the program for agrarians in frontline areas, where enterprises can receive 40% compensation for the cost of equipment without VAT. From April 2024 to June 2026, 12,175 agricultural enterprises purchased 20,902 units of equipment for nearly 15.5 billion UAH, with the total amount of compensations exceeding 3.2 billion UAH. Compensation is provided for equipment containing at least 60% Ukrainian materials. Agrarians must select equipment from the official list on the Ministry of Economy's website and submit an application through an authorized bank.
