Arthur Hayes: ETH Will Outperform Large-Cap Tokens in Market Rebound
In an interview on the Altcoin Daily podcast, Arthur Hayes stated that ETH will perform better than other large-cap crypto assets during the liquidity rebound in the crypto market. When asked about the potential price of ETH if BTC rises to $200,000 within the next five years, he expressed uncertainty but suggested it could be between $20,000 and $30,000. He noted that BTC's market share is currently around 60%, having dropped to 25% to 26% during the DeFi summer of 2020 to 2021. While he does not believe BTC will fall that low again, a drop to 40% is possible, and this process will be primarily driven by ETH, as it is the largest asset capable of rising quickly, thereby diminishing BTC's dominance.
