Lviv, Kyiv, and Dnipropetrovsk Regions Lead Electric Vehicle Sales in July

In July, over 3,900 new electric vehicles were registered in Ukraine. The leaders in sales were Lviv region with 698 units (97% used), the city of Kyiv with 352 units (66% used), Kyiv region with 321 units (82% used), Dnipropetrovsk region with 264 units (84% used), and Odesa region with 211 units (87% used). The most popular new models in these markets were the BYD Sea Lion 06 EV in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Odesa region, the Zeekr 001 in Lviv region, and the Zeekr 7X in Dnipropetrovsk region. In the used electric vehicle segment, the bestsellers were the Tesla Model 3 in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions, while the Tesla Model Y was popular in Kyiv and Kyiv region. The share of electric vehicles in new passenger car sales in Ukraine in July decreased to 7.3% compared to 24.7% a year earlier, while the share of hybrids increased from 21.2% to 31.2%, and cars with gasoline and diesel engines accounted for over 61% of the market.
