New Doubao Phone Abandons Simulated Clicks, Unable to Operate WeChat and Taobao
Prefer us on GoogleThe new generation of Doubao phones has adjusted its cross-App operation method, no longer reading the screen and simulating clicks, making it impossible to directly operate applications like WeChat and Taobao. The Doubao phone assistant can only connect when the applications actively provide MCP services and open up some data and operation permissions. Currently, the Doubao team is negotiating with several leading applications, hoping they will open AI calling interfaces. The previous generation Nubia M153 relied on GUI technology to operate Apps, but WeChat, Taobao, Alipay, and banking clients subsequently banned related functions, and Doubao also proactively took these scenarios offline.
